Before you book

  • Pickup and drop-off are at three points: Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown, the Legacy Trail Parking Lot in Canmore and Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa. The guide speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin, per the listing, and bottled water is included.
  • The listing's stops: Bow Lake and Peyto Lake (30 minutes each), Sunwapta Falls (15 minutes) and Athabasca Falls (45 minutes). Crowfoot Glacier, Waterfowl Lakes, the Stutfield Glacier viewpoint and Tangle Creek Falls are passed on the road. There is no listed stop at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, and no Ice Explorer or Skywalk ticket.
  • From December to the end of March the day goes to Abraham Lake for its ice bubbles instead of the falls. From mid-October there are no services between Lake Louise and Jasper, and the parkway's only cell coverage is at the Columbia Icefield, May to early October (Parks Canada); the listing suggests snacks, water, warm layers and hiking shoes.
  • Not included: meals, activities and a guide tip of CAD15 per person, as the listing writes it. The listing does not mention the national park pass, which the Icefields Parkway requires (CA$12.25 per adult per day in 2026). Not suitable for people with heart problems or wheelchair users. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
