Before you book

• Pickup and drop-off at Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown, the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa or the Legacy Trail Parking Lot; the listing sells it from Calgary, Canmore or Banff. Water, a guide who speaks English or Chinese, crampons and a hot drink in winter are included; meals are not, and lunch is an hour in Lake Louise village.
• Moraine Lake: Moraine Lake Road is closed to private cars all year, and Parks Canada let shuttles and licensed tour vehicles use it from 1 June to 12 October in 2026. In winter the listing goes to Bow Lake instead.
• Peyto Lake is on the Icefields Parkway, where a national park pass is needed even to drive through. The listing does not say whether the national park pass is included (2026: CA$12.25 an adult a day, free for 17 and under).
• Not suitable for wheelchair users; pets, drones, smoking, alcohol and feeding animals are not allowed, and the itinerary can change with the weather. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
