Banff/Jasper: Canadian Rockies Scenic Helicopter Tour

Before you book

• The flight does not leave from Banff or Jasper, whatever the title says. Rockies Heli Canada's heliport is at the junction of the Cline River and Highway 11, near Abraham Lake in Clearwater County, Alberta, and every option ends with a view of Abraham Lake before landing back there. The listing excludes hotel pickup; the operator says it offers transport to the heliport from Banff and Lake Louise, by reservation.
• Choose 20 minutes (Abraham Lake), 30 minutes (crevasses, glaciers and waterfalls over the Wilson Icefield and Cline Pass) or 55 minutes (the operator's “Complete Columbia Icefields Tour”, over six glaciers). The operator confirms the exact flight time after you book. Federal rules ban sightseeing take-offs and landings in Banff National Park, so flights leave from outside it.
• Included: the flight, a headset, the pilot's commentary, taxes and fees. Not included: tips and hotel pickup. Bring ID and warm, weather-appropriate clothing. Not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users. Rockies Heli Canada says its flights are operated by Airborne Energy Solutions Inc.
• The listing gives no season; on 7 October 2026 its calendar showed a flight that day. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
