Before you book
- Departures from 2801 Bow Valley Trail in Canmore (7:40 AM or 2:00 PM) or the Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa in Banff (8:00 AM or 2:20 PM), with drop-off at the same places; times and places are fixed. A driver takes you and shares tips on photo spots. The national park pass and GST are included.
- The listing visits Moraine Lake from 1 June to 11 October and Johnston Canyon instead from 12 October to 31 May. Parks Canada closes the Johnston Canyon trail to the Lower Falls and the Upper Falls lower viewpoint from 13 October 2026, with no reopening date, so ask the operator what a later date includes.
- Moraine Lake Road is closed to private cars all year, and Parks Canada let shuttles and licensed tour vehicles use it from 1 June to 12 October in 2026, and in winter the lake cannot be reached because of avalanche hazard. No 2027 season dates are published.
- Not included: meals; a tip of CAD$10 a person in cash (compulsory for groups of six or more); and fees for luggage, wheelchairs, strollers or infant seats, which you arrange in advance. The trip can be cancelled or moved if too few people book.

- Infant seats are offered upon request. Please let the tour company know in advance, as there will be an installation and cleaning fee. To avoid additional costs, bringing your own infant seat is recommended.
