Before you book

  • Pickup and drop-off at designated points in Calgary, Canmore or Banff, set by the option you book. Transport in an air-conditioned van and a local guide are included, with crampons in winter (used at your own responsibility, the listing says). The listing does not say whether the national park pass is included (2026: CA$12.25 an adult a day, free for 17 and under).
  • Not included: the Banff Gondola or Upper Hot Springs ticket, whichever you choose (the listing says the operator contacts you before the trip to buy it), meals, tips and travel insurance. Parks Canada sells hot springs entry only in person, and the springs are closed for maintenance from 13 October to early November 2026; the gondola is closed from 17 to 19 November 2026. For the springs, bring a swimsuit and towel or rent them there, as the listing advises.
  • Moraine Lake is on the itinerary only from 1 June to 12 October. From 13 October to 31 May the listing replaces it with a 20-minute stop at Lake Minnewanka.
  • The itinerary gives 80 minutes at the gondola or the springs, then Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, 80 minutes for lunch and free time on Banff Avenue and 50 minutes at Lake Louise; the listing says it can change with the weather, trail conditions, closures or traffic. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
