Before you book
- Three starting points, in Calgary, Canmore or Banff by option; arrive 10 minutes early. A driver-guide, the fuel surcharge, water, ice cleats in snowy seasons and what the listing calls “Entrance Fees for All Destinations” are included; it does not name the national park pass, so ask whether that is covered. Tips and personal expenses are extra.
- On 7 October 2026 the first open date was 15 October, after the Moraine Lake season (Parks Canada let tour vehicles on its road from 1 June to 12 October in 2026), so those dates go to Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge instead, as the listing says.
- Johnston Canyon: from 13 October 2026 Parks Canada closes the canyon trail to the Lower Falls and the Upper Falls lower viewpoint, with the P1 lot and washrooms, for rock-slope work, and has published no reopening date, so the Lower Falls hike in this listing cannot go ahead until it reopens. Ask the operator what replaces it.
- Lunch is a quick stop at Samson Mall. Children must be with an adult, and the tour is not wheelchair accessible; luggage, non-folding strollers and audio recording are not allowed. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”

This full-day Banff experience includes Lake Louise, Moraine Lake (replaced by Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge in winter after Moraine Lake is closed), Johnston Canyon, Banff, a fun Photo Challenge throughout the day. Your tour guide will share photo tips at different stops and help guests capture beautiful memories before heading home. For guests already staying in Banff, 2 optional nearby stops will be selected by the tour guide based on the day’s arrangement, timing, and conditions. Guests should wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable hiking shoes, and bring water and sun protection. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is not wheelchair accessible. The itinerary or stop order may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, safety considerations, or Parks Canada and Moraine Lake access regulations.
