Canmore: 25-Minute Three Sisters Helicopter Tour

4.9 (15 verified reviews)

Before you book

  • Check in with Alpine Helicopters' staff in the log building on the right-hand side of the car park, at the Canmore Municipal Heliport, 91 Bow Valley Trail. A five-minute safety briefing comes before the 25-minute flight. Parking fees are included; hotel transfers are not.
  • The listed route crosses the Bow River to The Three Sisters, goes through Three Sisters Pass into the Spray Valley, past the Goat and Sundance ranges, then back along Spray Lakes and through Stewarts Gap. Federal rules ban sightseeing take-offs and landings in Banff National Park, so flights leave from outside it; this one takes off in Canmore and does not land.
  • The flight needs at least two passengers, so solo travellers may be added to a flight that is already going; Alpine's helicopters seat up to five, so you may share. No age or weight limits are listed.
  • In winter 2025-26 Alpine flew from this Canmore base while its Stoney Nakoda base was closed; weather decides each flight. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
