Before you book
- Pickup from set points in Calgary, Canmore or Banff (the option you book decides which), in a vehicle for 6 to 55 people. All national park fees and a live guide are included; meals and travel insurance are not, and the listing suggests an optional $12 a person cash tip. Bring lunch or buy it in Lake Louise village.
- Moraine Lake is visited from 1 June to 12 October; from 13 October to 31 May the listing replaces it with 45 minutes in Banff town or 15 minutes at Bow Falls. Moraine Lake Road is closed to private cars all year.
- Johnston Canyon: from 13 October 2026 Parks Canada closes the trail to the Lower Falls and the Upper Falls lower viewpoint for rock-slope work, with no reopening date. The listing names Marble Canyon as the winter alternative, depending on the weather, and lends crampons in winter at your own responsibility.
- Smoking and alcohol are not allowed. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
