Moraine Lake Sunrise & Lake Louise Golden Hour Experience
Before you book
- Pickup and drop-off at your hotel or Airbnb in Canmore, Harvey Heights, Banff or Lake Louise. The listing says the group reaches Moraine Lake before sunrise, then moves on to Lake Louise. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate, blankets, child seats from age 2, the national park pass and Moraine Lake access are included.
- Season: Moraine Lake Road is closed to private cars all year, and Parks Canada let shuttles and licensed tour vehicles use it from 1 June to 12 October in 2026, and in winter the lake cannot be reached because of avalanche hazard. Do not count on a departure after 12 October; no 2027 dates are published.
- Mornings at the lake are cold, so bring layers, a hat and gloves. Breakfast, lunch, canoe rental and tips are not included, and on extended-stay options you cannot leave bags on the shuttle all day.
- Children under 2 cannot join, and pets are not allowed apart from assistance dogs. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.”
