Sunwapta & Athabasca Falls/Abraham Lake, Peyto, Bow Lake

Before you book
- Pickup and drop-off are at fixed points: Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown, the Travel Alberta Canmore Visitor Information Centre, Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa and the Lake Louise Visitor Centre. Guiding is in English, Chinese and Traditional Chinese. If too few people book your language, the operator may offer another, and below its minimum it can cancel or move the date.
- From 1 April to 30 November the listing's stops are Sunwapta Falls, Peyto Lake (45 minutes), Bow Lake, the Crowfoot Glacier viewpoint and Athabasca Falls. From 1 December to 31 March it visits Abraham Lake for the ice bubbles, weather permitting. Winter roads can change the plan; the operator says it will tell you the day before.
- Not included: meals (the listing says there are no restaurants at the stops, so bring lunch), activities and a guide tip of CAD$15 per person; groups of six or more pay a compulsory guide tip. Luggage, wheelchairs, strollers and infant seats carry a fee, so tell the operator in advance. GST and crampons are included.
- The listing does not say whether the national park pass is included; the Icefields Parkway requires one even if you never stop (CA$12.25 per adult per day in 2026, Parks Canada). From mid-October there are no services between Lake Louise and Jasper, and the parkway's only cell coverage is at the Columbia Icefield, May to early October.
- No age or health limits are listed. Cancellation, as listed: “Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund”.
